It’s time to bring back the 80s. There is an iconic Calgary roller disco brunch come to the city this summer and you need to add it to your bucket list. It's literally the perfect excuse to dress up in anything tight and neon and we are all about it. Oh, and there will be mimosas.
Calgary is all about gettingand and now, there is a new one rolling into town.
This new event will have you strapping on some roller skates and dressing up in all things neon and spandex.
You know you’ve always wanted to try roller skating, and now is your chance.
According to an email sent to Narcity, this booze-filled roller skating brunch is set to hit the city this June.
The event page states that the 80s brunch will take place on Sunday, June 21 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
From iconic disco moves to delectable eats, this event has it all.
While tickets are not on sale yet, you can register now and we strongly suggest doing it sooner rather than later because this event is going to be a hot topic.
During the event, there will be 90-minute sessions that will include food, booze, and skating.
Onsite, there will be a pop-up bar serving you the best 80s inspired cocktails, so this event is 18+.
Also, we strongly suggest you dress up.
From high waisted booty shorts and knee-high socks, you will need to pull out all the stops.
There will even be prizes awarded for the best dressed, so start watching old Madonna music videos now for inspiration.
If you don’t want to be on theme, no worries, it’s not a priority.
