For the first time ever, a Calgary black-owned market is taking place in the city and it’s kicking off this weekend.
The market will be taking place at the corner of 14th Avenue and Ninth Street Southwest and is set to run from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

This market showcases and supports Black business owners and artisans in the community.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask while shopping and hand sanitizer is a must as it won’t be provided.
