It's already that time of year where we're looking forward to the holiday season. In Calgary each year, the zoo likes to put on its holiday finery and magically transform into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights. Calgary Zoolights is back next month and we can't wait to get our hands on tickets for the most romantic and gorgeous time of year to visit the zoo.\nStarting on Friday, November 22 Zoolights will run throughout the rest of the year. This will be the 23rd year of Zoolights and it's an annual tradition for many holiday light seekers in Calgary.\nImagine keeping your hands warm with hot chocolate on a chilly night as snowflakes start to fall around you while you're surrounded by hundreds of thousands of holiday lights. Each year, there's also usually a giant gingerbread house that looks as good as it smells and it gets you in the mood for the holidays.\nThis year, the event is getting an extra magical touch. There are going to be brand-new activities this year at Zoolights including Wizarding Wednesdays and potions class.\nIt's not clear yet what Wizarding Wednesdays and the potion class will entail but it's almost impossible to think that it's not a shout out to Harry Potter. If you're dying to attend the pop-up Harry Potter bar that's coming to Calgary next year, this could be your chance to pregame.\nView this post on Instagram Love is one thing that transcends time and space.
