This Insane Inflatable Water Park Near Calgary Is Opening Soon
A super fun way to cool off this summer. 😎
This summer is bound to be one of the hottest so you better have your weekend plans full of ways to cool off and have fun. Rather than getting ice cream every single day, take a drive up to Sylvan Lake and check out this insane inflatable water park. You'll have the most epic summer ever chilling out and letting off some steam on this incredible obstacle course.
They've also added on new steps to make it easier for you to get out of the water so it's never been easier to have fun out on the lake. Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is between Calgary and Edmonton and it's less than two hours away from both cities. This is the ultimate last-minute road trip idea to have in your back pocket this summer.
This year, there will be a complete reconfiguration of the Aqua Splash set up. If you managed to do their insane aquatic obstacle course last year, it will be an all-new challenge for you this year. Their obstacles include floating trampolines, a trapeze swing, cliff slides, monkey bars and lily pads. There's going to be a new addition to this year's park called the High Roller and it's seven feet high!
Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is officially opening for the season on Friday, June 28. They'll be open every day from 11 AM to 8 PM until the end of the season on Monday, September 2. The park is weather-permitting so you can give them a call (or look out your window to see if it's raining) to see if they're open on any given day.
They will have a pre-season launch for two weekends in June before opening for the full season. You can check them out at their opening weekend on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 from 12 PM to 6 PM. They're also open the following weekend. Perfect if you can't wait for summer to arrive!
Admission starts at just $15 for one hour on the park. New this year is the option for full-day ($35) and half-day ($25) passes! There are discounts for early birds and twilight admission, too. For more information on admission and to plan your most chill day ever this summer, check out the website for Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash.
