The Tent Ridge hike in Alberta takes you to three mountain peaks and gives you glimpses of a dazzling, bright bright blue lake\nTent Ridge Horseshoe Trail is two hours from Calgary, near Canmore. It is a trip you'll be proud to tell all your friends you completed.\nBut this trek isn't for everyone. Some sections are a bit intense, with scrambles, and rocky ridge walks. It's imperative that you're prepared, especially if you go during the winter.\nTo help get ready for this local gem, you'll want to practice on some easier routes first.\nTent Ridge is a 10-kilometre loop path that will take you between four and five hours to complete. It is a difficult journey that should only be attempted by well-prepared hikers.\nBut if you have done some medium to challenging climbs in the past, you should give this one a try. Despite the work involved, it is worth every step.\nThe entire way, you'll get to enjoy panoramic views of countless mountain peaks.
