To join the section passing through the city, according to Calgary, you can either enter through Sandy Beach or Stanley Park. It takes about three hours to float down that section of the river, making it ideal as a day trip when you're too lazy to leave town. The Bragg Creek section is also located just 40 minutes outside Calgary.
