Self-isolating is a whole lot better when you have people willing to bring you things. Thanks to a book store in Edmonton, you seriously won't have to leave the house. All you really need is a good book and your imagination (and toilet paper, apparently). Glass Bookshop in Edmonton is offering free book delivery to anyone who is social distancing or self-isolating. It’s time to say goodbye to boredom.

With Justin Trudeau encouraging everyone to self-isolate and social distance, you may find yourself a little bored.

After all, you can only watch Netflix for so many hours in the day before you are absolutely over it.

Luckily for us, Glass Bookshop in Edmonton is running a free delivery program for those of us that are staying home.

The offer is going on right now and according to Glass Bookshop, it will continue to occur given how popular this initiative has been.

Not only is it great for self-isolating individuals, but it’s also super beneficial for those who may have mobility issues.

Right now, they currently deliver across Edmonton, St. Albert, and Sherwood Park. So there is literally no reason to leave the house — no matter how far you may be.

Don’t worry if you want several books. There’s no minimum or maximum order for free delivery which means you can get the latest books for the entire family.

You can also special order books so you aren’t limited to what’s in stock. All you need to do is add special orders to your cart through their online store and wait.

Once the new book is in, the wonderful employees will bring it to your door.

All books can be ordered through their online store. The website is easy to navigate and you can browse through all their new and upcoming releases.

There is also no wait time. Glass Bookstore has confirmed with Narcity that once an order is placed, it will arrive at your door within one to three days.

Co-owner of the store Matthew Stepanic is currently delivering all orders with his dog, Bob.

Can you name a more iconic duo?

If getting a new book wasn’t exciting enough, Bob the adorable Pembroke Welsh corgi is bound to brighten your day.

Don’t worry. Both Bob and Stepanic are taking proper health and safety precautions including contacting each customer beforehand to determine proper delivery instructions.

Books will be left in the mailboxes and in-between doors to ensure safe distancing.

“We believe it’s important that we think and act collectively now, to stay home as much as we can, limit contact, and take good care of ourselves and others,” said Stepanic in an email to Narcity.

“Still, we know what a comfort a new, unread book can be, and so we wanted to provide free delivery to our valued customers so that they would have something to enjoy during this period of social isolation.”

Now is the perfect time to catch up on all the reading you’ve been meaning to do.

These books also make for a great gift to send to someone as a special self-isolation surprise.

Thanks to this offer, you now have literally no reason to leave the house.

Between YEG Survival Kits being delivered to you and the Calgary Zoo posting live cams of their pandas, all your entertainment and necessities are covered.
