Have you enjoyed the best seat in town? As a local, you might think you know all the cool places in the city. But think again. We found an ultra-secret spot where you can soar over the water, and it is easy to find. Stop everything, as it is time you track down this waterfront swing in Edmonton.

Unravelling the mystery over where to find the swing is half the fun. Chances are you have hiked past it countless times and never noticed, but we have the inside scoop on where to go.

To get to the River Valley Swing, you'll need to follow the paved trail near the Highlands Golf Course. Following the path go past the Capilano Bridge, but if you've reached Kinnaird Park, you've gone too far.

Looking down toward the shore, you'll be able to spot the swing, and then it is just a matter of making it down. There are two options, you can either follow the path a bit further and walk there.

Or there is a short cut down a steep dirt hill with a rope where you can climb your way down. If it has rained in the last few days, make sure to take the first option as the hill can get very muddy, and you could slip.

It is almost like going on a treasure hunt, but your prize is swinging over the river. Do you think you have what it takes to find it?

The swing is high off the ground, so you might need to jump to get on. But once you make it on you can enjoy lots of space.

The large flat seat that hangs from a tree has enough room for two people.

We can't think of a better way to relax, then enjoying the stunning views at this hidden gem.

One thing is for sure it would be the perfect place to take a cute photo.

What are you waiting for? It is time to hunt for the River Valley Swing.
