Your fall-inspired dreams are about to come true. The annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019. The Thanksgiving tradition takes place along Fort Langley’s Main Street, though there will be events all over town. Also, it's free!

Just a 45-minute drive from Downtown Vancouver, it’s absolutely worth the journey. The crowd-favourite event will be kicking off at 8:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast. Is there a better way to start the day?

After the pancakes are gone, it’s time to indulge in all the cranberry-related activities you could imagine and celebrate the festival's 24th year. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and trust us, you’ll wish it were longer. There will be a marketplace with over 100 vendors, 16 food trucks, and tons of live music and entertainment. Snack on delicious local goodies while shopping for cranberry wine, beer, soaps, baked goods, dog treats, jewelry, and more. The unique festival definitely deserves a spot on your fall bucket list in Canada

This wholesome festival is what fall fun is all about. On top of the eating and shopping, you can also enjoy contests, cooking demonstrations, a fashion show, and an incredible lineup of live music.

Not only is this a must-stop event in its own right, but it’s also the perfect experience to visit Fort Langley. Established as a National Historic Park in 1955, this place is bursting with rich Canadian history.

The Fort Langley Cranberry Festival was established in 1995 to honour the village and that sweet little red berry. Over 65,000 people came out to celebrate last year, and you should be among those thousands this time around. We can’t wait to eat all the cranberry scones, take a photo in front of the cranberry bog, and take it all in at this year’s Fort Langley Cranberry Festival. See you there!
