Timber Lounge // 2712 Agricola St
If you’re looking to burn off some steam in the middle of the week, bring your friends to Timber Lounge in the North End and see if you have what it takes to hit the targets at this unique axe throwing facility. There’s also a full-service bar for patrons to enjoy, ideally after the axing (?) portion of the evening.

Try out this brand new 5000 square foot table tennis facility, located above Cheers on Grafton Street. Grab some drinks, delicious snacks, and book a table with your friends for only $15-$30 per hour, depending on how busy they are.
Seven Bays // 2019 Gottingen Street
Get a workout in before having a few beers at this Halifax bouldering café. Memberships are $47 per month plus a registration fee, and provide visitors with the chance to try the climbing walls and take classes at this cool, modern facility. Seven Bays also serves delicious snacks, espresso drinks and a wide variety of craft beer.
The Canvas Room // 5521 Cornwallis Street
Get the creative juices flowing with a couple drinks at this unique Halifax art studio. Lead by an instructor, visitors partake in a two-hour art session, at which good food, cocktails and wine is served. Painting supplies and canvas is provided by The Canvas Room at each Paint and Sip event – get a creative group of friends together and check it out ASAP.
