Wentworth Valley Ski Resort announced on their website that most of their hills will officially be open for the 2016 ski season on Saturday, December 17th - which is tomorrow! Skiers and boarders will have the chance to spend their first weekend on the hill this Saturday and Sunday, and it looks like it's going to be a cold one with lots of fresh snow!

Opening day specials include $30 lift tickets and $20 ski/snowboard rentals.  The hills will close at 4pm, and night skiing won't be available until December 26th.  Bunny Hill will not be open by Saturday, so beginners won't be able to take ski lessons for a little while, but the hill should be ready for skiing soon!

Wentworth Valley is less than a two hour outside of Halifax, making it the perfect spot for a day trip with friends.  To learn more about their big opening tomorrow, click here.
