It's been said time and time again that we humans don't deserve dogs. From their simply adorable wagging tails to their ability to know and comfort us when we're sad, these furry companions deserve to be treated like royalty. That, of course, means healthy eating, exercise, and unlimited petting and cooing, but it also means treating them to a special date night whenever you can. And, with an abundance of dog-friendly places in Hamilton, Ontario, there's no shortage of adorable doggy date nights for you and your fur baby to enjoy.

Ontario may be about to allow you to bring your fur baby to bar patios again. But, even if that change doesn't happen, there are already so many opportunities in the Hammer to spoil your pup that are more than just a walk in the park.

How about visiting a beautiful castle? Or putting that sniffer to good use and picking tasty apples together? You can even keep it chill and go on a shopping date together in an incredible greenhouse.

No matter what you choose to do, it's important to show our doggos some love. Now, all that's left to do is grab that leash and get ready to show your K9 companion just how much they truly mean to you.
