One of the most beautiful and fragrant events is taking over a mall in Burnaby, B.C. next month. Saturday, March 7, for one day only, you can visit I Heart Tulips at Metropolis in Metrotown. There will be over 14,000 real tulips blooming in support of an incredible cause. When we say it’s for one day only we mean it. So start marking your calendars. From retro 90s bars to pop up photobooths with Instagram husbands, we love any event where we can take amazing shots of ourselves for our social media pages. I Heart Tulips is no exception to that and it is coming to Metrotown in Burnaby very soon. Even though spring doesn’t officially begin until March 19, it is blooming a little earlier this year. Next month, a beautiful art installation will be bringing 14,000 live tulips to Metrotown’s Grand Court. For one day only on March 7, you can take your picture in a beautiful sea of different coloured flowers. All of the tulips will be arranged in adorable heart shapes in support of the Children’s Charity. Anyone who is interested in seeing them can head down to the mall and take in the full view from all three levels of the mall. A collection of eight gorgeous flowers will only cost you $5 or you can spend a little extra and receive 20 stems for $10. Either way, you can feel good about your purchase since all the proceeds will go to charity. Plus, your home needs that little pop of colour this time of year. This is the second year the I Heart Tulip festival has been featured in the mall. Since the 2019 event was such a success, we strongly recommend getting there early in order to get a pic before all the tulips are sold out.
