Along the boardwalk trail that follows the canyon, there are tall granite walls, moss-covered stones, wildflowers, beautiful mountain views, a covered bridge and the stunning Avalanche Falls. On the trail, you can easily follow the roaring sound of the water to find the giant waterfall. The boardwalk trail will lead you over the rushing water until you get right next to Avalanche Falls, a 45-foot waterfall! View this post on Instagram Here’s a shot from early summer. I forget what the name of this fall is, and I’m too lazy too look it up. #waterfall • • • • #flumegorge #franconianotch #newhampshire #igersnewhampshire #igersnewengland #igersboston #nature #naturephotography #canont7i #longexposure #canonusa #whitemountains #wmnf #hikethewhites #optoutside #outdoors #explore #canon #nh #hiking #newengland #nbnmustsee A post shared by Anthony Lischio (@antlischio) on Oct 28, 2018 at 1:58pm PDT Flume Gorge Trail is open from May 10 to October 20, and admission to the trail is $16.
