You Can Stargaze With A Telescope And Sip Wine At A Mystical Ontario Winery This Fall
Most magical evening ever!
We haven't lost our summer evenings yet, so we need to take advantage of the longer days and crisp evening air while we still can! Is there any better way to enjoy these lovely twilights than by sipping wine and gazing at stars? If you answered, "no", then you need to check out Ontario's Coffin Ridge Winery stargazing nights. It's the most magical way to end the summer!
Lay back and relax as you gaze at dazzling stars and sip delicious wine. This is a fun event to attend with a group of friends or on a romantic date! Maybe you'll even spot some shooting stars.
Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery is located along the scenic Niagara Escarpment and offers a breath-taking view of Georgian Bay. Approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Toronto, the gothic-style winery and vineyard is a perfect place to go for a weekend road trip.
The Stargazing event is offered at the winery for two nights only; Sept. 21, 2019, and Oct. 5, 2019. For only $20, you'll get a prime spot under the stunning night sky, access to a telescope for optimal star viewing, and of course, a delicious glass of their very own wine. The evening is hosted by the Bluewater Astronomical Society, who will teach you all about the magic of stars.
The night will begin with a brief chat at the bar, followed by a dazzling constellation viewing and deep-sky exploration once the night gets really dark. Coffin Ridge also features a charming and tranquil inn called the Resting Place, which is a great alternative to driving home in the dark. Why not make an entire weekend out of it?
Come to the winery early so that you can take a tour of the sprawling vineyard and enjoy some complimentary tastings of their divine wines and ciders. Then enjoy the show of constellations and planets as nighttime falls! You can purchase tickets for the event by visiting the winery website.
