As Halloween approaches, some spooktacular events are taking place across the province. From haunted houses and eerie corn mazes to pumpkin extravaganzas, everyone's getting in the scary spirit in honour of this frightening holiday. A unique Halloween experience is happening outside of Toronto this year, and it would make even a wicked witch smile! This event will fill you with nostalgia as it transports you into the land from an all-time favourite film. Ontario's Nightmare Before Christmas Experience has a giant Halloween Town for you to visit!\nCome face to face with some of the iconic characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas at this impressive installation. Located in Guelph, the event will open for its third year running from October 24 to 31. The attraction is a family-run event and is set up in their front yard each Halloween. Described on the event page as a "silly and sinister family-friendly event," The Nightmare Before Christmas Experience is a must-visit this Halloween!\nThe completely free installation features replicas of characters and props from the film, as well as a 10-minute video light show. There will be a spooky graveyard filled with tombstones from the film, as well as some life-sized characters such as Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Zero, the Mayor, Lock, Shock, and Barrel. The attraction draws around 5,000-6,000 people annually and takes a total of nine days to be set up.\nThe organizer began the installation as a fun Halloween experience that's not super scary and is something everyone can enjoy.\nAs the event takes place in a neighbourhood, guests are reminded to be respectful of things like parking, speed limits, noise level, and litter.
