It looks like sunny days are here to stay, and there's no better way to enjoy the nice weather than by exploring the outdoors. Parks and trails are starting to reopen across the province, including this popular garden's scenic routes. Put on your favourite sunhat and enjoy the views at Ontario's Royal Botanical Gardens trails. With the province slowly starting to reopen, some parks and other outdoor areas are finally becoming available to the public again. The Royal Botanical Gardens has been closed for several months, but now, some of its trails have opened up and are waiting to be explored. While the garden areas remain closed, you can wander along the trails for some beautiful scenic views. The Hendrie Valley Sanctuary Trails, Rock Chapel Sanctuary and Berry Tract Trails, and trails on the South Shores of Cootes Paradise are open. Filled with lush marshes, trickling creeks, and forested slopes, these areas make for the perfect warm-weather adventure. You can even see the cascading Borer's Falls on the Rock Chapel Loop. Explore two stretching boardwalks complete with five lookouts on the Hendrie Valley trails. You may catch a glimpse of a beaver swimming through South Pasture Swamp. In order to ensure everyone's safety, social distancing regulations are in effect at these spots. View this post on Instagram Discovering all kinds of wilderness with these two.
