This Amazingly Colourful Railway Tunnel In Ontario Is A Magical Day Out
The tunnel reopened August 14 & it's totally lit!
Your weekend plans just got derailed, because we've found something better. Thisis finally reopening in August, and it’s going to be lit. But, like, actually. So if you’re ready to get your day trip itinerary back on track, now’s your chance.
Located in Brockville, Ontario, the Brockville Railway Tunnel will re-open Friday, August 14, and we can’t wait to go exploring through the whimsical spot.
The spot, which is Canada’s first railway tunnel, will feature a brand new light and sound show for 2020.
But that’s not the only change you can expect. There are now several safety guidelines for you to follow when you visit.
Masks will be required inside the tunnel, and you’re asked to follow physical distancing protocols as well.
It’s also important to note that the tunnel is likely to be wet and slippery, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear.
You might even want a rain hat or coat to keep yourself dry.
You can even bring your fur baby along, just make sure they’re on a short leash.
This vibrant tunnel will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and although admission is free, donations are encouraged.
For your safety, it’s important that you follow a few rules, including staying off the curb and avoiding touching the mineral deposits on the tunnel walls.
