You Can Drive Down This Dazzling 2-KM Road Of Lights In Ontario This Winter
It's going to be LIT!
There are so many amazing things about the holiday season! There's drinking hot cocoa by the fireplace on a cold Sunday morning, shopping for unique gifts at the local Christmas market, listening to holiday music in every shop you walk into, and of course, all the twinkly lights strung up on every street!
You can pretty much walk down any street in your neighbourhood during the holidays and spot some pretty light displays but if you're looking for something even better (and also don't want to walk) you should head over to The Magic of Lights event this winter!
The Magic of Lights event takes over Ottawa's Wesley Clover Parks with a 2-km drive through vibrant light display! It's all about celebrating the joy and festive holiday season and the best part is you don't have to leave the comfort of your own car to experience it.
It officially started on November 16th and will run until January 5th every night from dusk until 10 pm. At every turn, the route will be overflowing with dazzling lights including the infamous 100-meter tunnel of lights at the end!
The one downfall of this event is that you do have to pay for entrance to the event. It costs $25 on weekdays and $30 on weekends. If you want to get your ticket at an even cheaper price though you can buy it in advance online for $20. If you're feeling fancy and want to arrive in a limo or bus the cost is a bit more!
The Magic of Lights event is super popular and actually takes over parks in multiple US cities and Ottawa is their only Canadian stop! They're open every single day so you have no excuse not to check it out this holiday season and experience the magic for yourself!
