The Bentway Skate Trail
Opened for the first time last winter, The Bentway Skate Trail is the newest hot spot in the city! You can skate under the Gardiner Expressway for a winter adventure you definitely won't forget. Skate past trees covered with twinkly lights with views of the shimmering city skyline right in front of you!
Ontario Place Winter Light Exhibition
Ontario Place has become one of the coolest event destinations in the city, hosting all kinds of festivals year round. Last year they hosted the unreal Winter Lights Exhibition and it was a huge hit! Now it's coming back for round two and you'll find similar favourites from last year like the skating rink, forest of twinkly lights, bonfires, and more!
Harbourfront DJ Skate Nights
Every year the Harbourfront opens up their skating rink by the water and it's truly one of the best spots in the city to partake in this winter tradition. What makes it even better is that on the weekends they host DJ skate nights after dark with live music, lights, and tons of fun!

Sweet Jesus is known for their over-the-top soft serve creations that are covered in a crazy amount of toppings. But they also serve up unreal hot chocolates during the colder months of the year. The Toronto Light Fest is an annual festival that takes over the city's infamous Distillery District every year. Held from January 18th until March 3rd in 2019 it will take you on a visual journey through neon art installations like you've never seen before! If you're looking for a cool event to take part in this winter, this should be at the top of your list.
The Winter Stations is a design competition that takes over the Beaches in the east end of the city every year. Tons of temporary installations will be set up along the beach to celebrate Toronto's winter waterfront landscape. This year's theme is Migration and while the installations haven't yet been released, we know they're going to be amazing just like the year's before.
