Murphy's law has a great patio and a very diverse menu that is sure to meet any date's needs! 2. Java House // 537 Queen St W. It would be wrong not to include Java House when making a list of cheap food in Toronto. Java House has an extremely affordable menu, and is a prime people watching location. So, if your date is not as exciting as you hoped, at least you'll have some entertainment! 3. Lola's Kitchen // 634 Church St. If your date likes breakfast food, take them to Lola's! The eggs benny is sure to impress them, and who can actually say no to brunch?! 4. FBI Pizza // 2336 Lake Shore Blvd W. FBI pizza has amazing quality food and a very laid back vibe. Plus you might get to take left overs home after your date, score! 5. The Rhino // 1249 Queen St W. The Rhino has a great patio and cheap drinks, what else do you really need for a great date?! Take your meals to go and gain some creativity points by suggesting a picnic styled dinner! 7. Aft. Kitchen and Bar // 686 Queen Street E. Affordable BBQ is hard to find, and Aft. Kitchen and Bar is the closest I have come by so far. If you're looking for large portion sizes and lots of flavour, this is your place! 8. Seven Lives Tacos // 69 Kensington Ave. For your sake, I hope your date likes tacos. Mainly because that gives you an excuse to go out and eat tacos. 9. Fresh Off The Boat // 404 Queen St W Seafood does not always have to be pricy. Fresh off the boat offers quality seafood for a reasonable price! 10. Korean Grill House // 754 Younge St. Korean Grill House is an immersive dining experience that allows you to cook your own food on the grill in the table.
