As Canadians, loving hockey is basically part of our DNA. So it only makes sense that our fur babies would love the game too. Unfortunately, most hockey arenas are not pet-friendly, so watching the game IRL with your doggo is out of the question. But that’s all changing this February. For one night only, you and your pup can take in a game together as part of the annual Mississauga Steelheads Pucks N’ Paws event.\nYeah, you heard us right.\nYou can enjoy the most Canadian doggy date night ever on Sunday, February 2 and take in some great Ontario Hockey League puck at the same time.\nDoes it even get any cuter than this? Oh, wait. Yes it does.\nGlobal News' weather dog, Storm, will kick off the third iteration of this event on Sunday afternoon with a ceremonial puck drop that’s sure to steal your heart.\nThe event will also feature fun activities such as a doggy photo booth, a face painting booth, balloon artists, groomers and a variety of treats, awards, and giveaways.\nWoof!\nTo attend the game with your canine companion, be sure to purchase a Pucks N’ Paws ticket in sections 11 through 16.\nIt sounds like this doggy date is going to be a real howling good time.\nView this post on Instagram Hershey Centre went to the dogs last Sunday as the Mississauga Steelheads hosted the Erie Otters in a Pucks n' Paws game. To enter, all you need to do is submit a video of your dog performing their best trick.\nThe winning pup will receive complimentary tickets to the event (well, their owners will).
