Ontario's Largest Beer & Rib Festival Is Happening In Toronto This Spring
When you think of the warmer weather ahead I'm sure one of the main things you're looking forward to is BBQ season. This is the time of year where inviting people over for dinner means grilling up some delicious burgers, sausages or ribs on the BBQ for a casual and delicious dinner in.
Ribs are the meal that true carnivores love because you're literally eating the perfectly seasoned and sauced meat right off of the bone. They're super messy and you're guaranteed to end up with sauce all over your face once you're done but that's the fun of it!
All you rib lovers rejoice because there's a massive rib and beer festival happening in Toronto that you're not going to want to miss! The Northern Heat Rib Series is back again this year ready to serve you some finger-licking good ribs.
The Northern Heat Rib Series is a travelling rib festival that will be hitting multiple locations around Ontario all summer long. They have 2 Toronto locations on the list, the first one will be taking place at Yonge and Dundas from May 18th-20th. The second location is at Woodbine Park in The Beaches from June 15th-17th.
It's completely free to enter into the festival but you'll have to pay for any ribs or beer you enjoy while you're there. There will be a Craft Beer Market with over 35 different beers on tap and tons of rib vendors selling all different kinds and styles of your favourite food!
Ribs aren't the only foods they have available though, they'll also have tons of snacks to try like fried onions, potato tornadoes, funnel cakes, BBQ chicken, cole slaw, corn bread, poutine, burgers and sausages, jerk chicken, slushies, deep fried desserts and so much more!
There will also be live music at the events, contests, face painting and other fun activities to enjoy after you've chowed down on your saucy feast!
This festival will also be hitting Newmarket, Windsor, Welland, Hamilton, Sarnia, Midland, Milton, Ancaster, Thornhill, Hamilton-Mountain, Georgetown, Orillia, Waterloo, and Ajax from May until the end of August!
