Every year, Toronto brings on the best spook events, and this year is no different! Check out the list below to have the best scary October!
Haunted Market, D-Beastro
Where: 1292 Bloor St W. // Bloordale Village
When: October 6th, 4pm-10pm
Why should you go: Kick start spook season right, by getting all the spooky essentials at this year's Haunted Market. From art & crafts, to collectibles and posters, there is something for everyone here!
The Bazaar of the Bizarre, Pia Bouman School For Ballet
Where: 6 Noble St // Little Portugal
When: October 8th, 11am-8pm
Why should you go: If a full on craft market like the one above isn't for you, the Bazaar of the Bizarre should be! An all-day Sunday spook-fest, will contain a marketplace for the goods, live bands and DJs, plus tonnes of food vendors to satisfy your cravings!
Halloween Haunt, Canada's Wonderland
Where: 1 Canada's Wonderland Drive // Vaughan
When: September 30th-October 31st, dates & times vary
Why should you go: This is the ULTIMATE spooky event of the year. The park will be taken over by your worst nightmares and there is no better place for you to get spooky this year. Hop on the rides, taken in the wonders of wonderland... but be sure to look behind you- you never know who or what is ready to jump out at you.

Why should you go: Another horror filled event, that will spook you enough till next year. Toronto's original haunted attraction never fails to bring your fears to life. Are you brave enough to talk a walk around?
Legends of Horror, Casa Loma
Where: 1 Austin Terrace // Casa Loma
When: September 29th-October 31st, 6pm-11pm
Why should you go: This self-guided walking tour, though the Casa Loma castle- tunnels, hidden hallways and all- is known to bring on a fun-filled spook night. The classic horror characters that took over your thoughts late at night will come to life for an epic thriller night.
Haunted Walk, Black Creek Pioneer Village
Where: 1000 Murray Ross Pwky // North York
When: Every Saturday in October, 8pm-9:15pm
Why should you go: A spin on the classic "fire-side creepy story-telling", comes the haunted walk through this perfect creepy village. This is a limited edition event, making it a must-see spooky event in October!
Haunted High Park, High Park
Where: 11 Colborne Lodge Drive // High Park
When: October 25th, 26th & 31st, 7pm-8:30pm
Why should you go: If you didn't High Park was haunted...well ya do now. This event will let you learn about the legends that live on the grounds and appear after dark. If you're lucky, you might actually cross paths with a friendly (or not-so friendly) ghost.
After Dark Film Festival, Scotiabank Theater

Why should you go: Horror movie lovers paradise this October is the "After Dark Film Festival". Nine nights of thrillers that will tingle your spooky senses in the best ways. Grab popcorn, your best horror movie buds, and spend your nights being spooked!
Toronto's Horror Hallways

When: October 6th-October 31st (weekends only), times vary.
Why should you go: Old hotel, demon infested, pitch black hallways- if those don't scream "spooky", I don't know what does. Back again this year, this maze of horror is exactly what you need.
Night of Dread, Duffrin Grove Park
Where: 875 Duffrin Grove Park Ave // Bloordale Village
When: October 28th, 4pm-9pm
Why should you go: For those you want to actually be a part of the spook, this one is for you! Dress up in the most dreadful, scary black and white costumes and head to Duffrin Grove Park where you will be joined by many others. There's also street artists, stilt walkers and live music.
