It may not exactly feel like it outside but it is no longer winter and spring is upon us. And of course that means only one thing, well one thing besides the fact you can finally put your winter boots away. It means that food truck season is finally upon us! Hurray! Yes, all those amazing food trucks that seemingly disappeared from the city as soon as it got cold last year, are on their way back this month in the city. Luckily for us in Toronto, later this month there will be a chance to try a whole bunch of food trucks in one convenient place. No having to run around the city looking for something specific to eat! @curbsidedogsembedded via So, when and where is this thing which allows you to try a bunch of food trucks in one day? On April 13 at Resurrection Rd. and Bloor St. W., which is just west of Islington subway station for all you TTC riders, the fourth annual season of Food Truck’N Friday will be kicking off! The event will last from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. so that gives you plenty of time to try all sorts of different foods! @sulirmaosembedded via Featured food trucks include: Curbside Dogs, Sul Irmaos Smokehouse, 416 Food Truck Company, Temptations, La Cucina A Go-Go, and easily the best named one, Mustache Cheesery. The best part is that this is not the only event of the year! There will be multiple Food Truck’N Friday’s held throughout the year! @temptationsfoodtruckembedded via So you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try all sorts of food you wouldn’t be able to find without running around the city otherwise. You can see the full list of scheduled food Truck’N Friday’s in the tweet below. Save the dates! Here's the complete #FTF18 schedule for the entire year. Don't make #dinner on the following nights & plan accordingly. We hope to see you at one or ALL of our events this year - see you soon! #FoodTruckNFriday #toronto #foodtrucks pic.twitter.com/8qqyr65VQ3 — Food Truck'N Friday (@FoodTrucknFri) March 5, 2018 So if you're looking for the chance to try something new, you might want to save April 13 on your calendar.
