I can't be the only one who sometimes feels like there is nothing to do. When you've rewatched The Office 18 million times, you've gone to the same coffee shop the same amount and you don't feel like going to the mall, what could you possibly do? Well, if that's all your city had to offer, we'd really be in trouble here.

You can thank me later. A lot of these things you have probably done before, but not this way. You'll see what I mean soon. There is always a different way to shop, get coffee, hike, and see the city. You just don't know it yet! If you feel like there is nothing to do at all in Toronto, you may just need to change things up.

Humber Bay Arch Bridge

Where: Martin Goodman Trail

@ryanboltonembedded via

Sometimes, all we need is some fresh air. Maybe you've spent all weekend binging 90s movies (sounds great) and you just need to walk it out. What better way than on a bridge with great views, and that leads to a park? You can grab a friend and a coffee, or just go by yourself to have some self-care time.

No matter what time of day it is, Humber Bay Arch Bridge is so beautiful. It lights up at night, but in the daytime, you can see the CN Tower in the distance. It's not a very long bridge, so you could walk off of it and sit at the park and read. It's all up to you!

Snakes & Lattes

Where: Multiple Locations

@meljaytvembedded via

Getting coffee the regular way is so yesterday. It's so nice to catch up with friends over coffee, but c'mon, we all know once you throw board games into the mix it's all over. That's where Snakes & Lattes comes in. Coming from the least competitive person on the planet, I can still get a little upset over losing at a board game. Imagine this: You order beer, wine, or a latte, you pick out your favourite board game (Clue, obviously), and you see your food coming from a distance. Does life get better?

Maybe you don't want to play board games with your mom and dad at home. But playing board games at a cafe? Yes, please! You can even invite mom and dad if you really want to. But they have hundreds of board games and card games that will bring you riiiight back to your childhood.

Black Market Clothing

Where: 256 Queen St W

@fairylikethoughtsembedded via

Have you ever wanted to go shopping but you really don't want to go to the mall? Same. The mall gives me anxiety and everything is so expensive and I hate it. So why not try thrift/vintage shopping?! It's always nice to find things for way cheaper than in the stores, and it's also a great way to not buy things you don't need.

Thrift shopping doesn't mean you need to buy everything. It's also just fun to walk around and look at things that used to be in style and that are coming back. Black Market Clothing in Toronto is great for all of this, and if you love graphic tees, then this is the spot for you!

Markham Station

Where: 5117 Sheppard Ave E

@vdaquipilembedded via

Always hungry? Same. If you feel like there is actually nothing to do in Toronto, why not go eat somewhere? Aren't we always up for eating?! Especially at a place that's open 24/7. Markham Station is a great place that's open 24 hours, but they also have cheap food too! Don't get it twisted, cheap doesn't mean bad.

If you get there between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., they have a breakfast special that comes with 3 eggs, your choice of meat, toast and either home fries, rice or roasted potatoes for ONLY $6.99. Of course, you can order something else in between those hours and the rest of the day. They have all day breakfast (bless) and basically every other food item you can think of. If you're bored, make the drive out and get as much as you can for cheap!

Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower

Where: 1191 Dorset Scenic Tower Rd

@wimoniembedded via

Trying to get out of your bubble when it comes to plans? I know it's so easy to do things that are close to home, but try to get out of your comfort zone and take a little road trip! Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower is the best place you'll go, trust me. If you go in the fall, you'll experience the most amazing fall foliage that you could ever imagine.

Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower is about 3 and a half hours drive Toronto, but the drive is so worth it. This lookout tower is 465 feet in the air where you can go onto the observation deck. Also, it could be used as quite the workout! If you feel like there is actually nothing to do in Toronto, then get out of the city and experience something else.

Jacked Up Coffee

Where: 136 Yorkville Ave

@thelittleblackcoffeecupembedded via

Ever wanted to do a hunt for a coffee shop ... or truck in this instance. Jacked Up Coffee can be found in Yorkville, but it's still fun to search for it as it's not exactly a coffee shop. This food truck is so unique and cool, that you'll want to come here every day to get a cup of Joe. And you definitely can't miss it by its bright blue exterior.

So maybe you're sick of sitting in a loud coffee shop trying to talk to your friends. Here is the solution! Stop by here, grab a coffee, and walk around or sit on one of the seats they have provided. No matter what, you'll be coming back for more.
