Toronto isn't usually at the forefront of the art scene that usually goes to cities like Paris, New York City, Berlin, and Barcelona. But this weekend Toronto is stepping up their art game with a super cool installation that's really going to add some sparkle to our city streets, yes I realize how cheesy that sounds!\nA super cool tunnel made up of over 14 million sequins is being set up at the intersection of Yonge and St. Clair right now and it looks like something out of our wildest dreamworlds. They're calling it the "Tunnel of Glam" and that's exactly what it is, totally glam!\n@yongestclairembedded via\n@yongestclairembedded via\nThe Tunnel of Glam is officially opening to the public, tomorrow December 1st! It will be available for visitors to admire and walk through any time from 7 am until 11 pm. It will be open for the entire month of December from the 1st-31st so you have tons of time to visit and experience it first-hand.\nThe tunnel is 80 feet long and filled with millions of coloured sequins that create an interactive experience. If you run your hands along the walls they change colours like those crazy sequin pillows! Just check out the video below and see for yourself.\n@yongestclairembedded via\n@stonerosehairstudioembedded via\nIf you're trying to find the exact location of the Tunnel of Glam head to 1501 Yonge St. and you'll find it tucked behind the Shoppers Drugmart there! There will be hanging lights throughout the tunnel so it highlights how glittery the tunnel really is.\nThis unreal installation was designed by the local art collective Studio F Minus that strives to create public art that sparks conversation. This is exactly what their newest project will be doing and we can't wait to check it out ourselves!\n@studiofminusembedded via\nCheck out their page for more information!
