You Can Pick Your Own Tulips At This Massive Pop-Up Garden In Downtown Toronto
Stop and smell the tulips!
Spring has finally sprung Toronto! The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and the flowers are definitely blooming, especially in downtown Toronto today. A massive garden filled with over 11,000 colourful tulips was just planted in at the Bay Adelaide Centre in the middle of the city.
Some amazing human from Pioneer Flower and Usful woke up super early and surprised the city with an amazing event that everyone can take part in today! You can actually head downtown and pick your own tulips.
Over 11,000 fresh and beautiful tulips are ready for the picking at Bay Adelaide Centre right now in this stunning Tulip Picking Garden! The Toronto Flower Market, an annual event that takes place all summer long, is hosting this magical event today.
It's basically a pop-up flower picking garden and the best thing is that all donations from the flower-picking go to CAMH, a great organization supporting mental health in the city.
The pop-up garden is open from 10:30 am until 6 pm today, May 8th so you have a few hours left to head downtown and get your floral bouquet! If you can't make it to this spontaneous flower event today, the Toronto Flower Market is hosting their very first weekend on May 11th so you won't miss out too much.
