After a much-anticipated wait, the final season of Schitt's Creek premiered last night and fans were reunited with their favourite, quirky characters. The Canadian sitcom has stolen the hearts of viewers around the globe since its launch in 2015. It turns out, you don't need to hop on a bus to the town of Schitt's Creek in order to experience the show in real life. Toronto's Schitt's Creek Rosebud sign is on display right now, and you can snap some selfies with the iconic set-piece. The Rosebud Motel doesn't just exist on television. The Schitt's Creek Twitter account recently revealed that the prop will be on display at CBC's Broadcast Centre in Toronto. Fans are welcome to visit the famous sign, snap some pictures, and pay tribute to the show's six seasons of smiles. The majority show was filmed just outside of Toronto, in a small town called Goodwood. The actual motel is located in Orangeville, and you can visit this spot as well as several other notable filming locations to feel like a real-life Rose. The Rosebud Motel sign will remain at the Broadcast Centre until mid-April, with the possibility of an extended stay beyond that. Twitter users were quick to share their love and sadness about the show's final run. The Rosebud Motel sign has a new home. This humble little sign from a humble little show is a piece of history, and as ironically Canadian as a maple leaf," one user tweeted. Schitt's Creek encouraged fans to share their photos with the sign and announced that sadly, no cinnamon buns or vodka will be supplied at the display.
