A visit to this Oakville drive-in is a must add to your 2018 fall bucket list!
While summer is officially coming to an end and September is upon us, it's time to start planning out your fall bucket list! No matter what, it's always nice to enjoy the crisp air that autumn brings and all the spooky festivities that come along with it.
One classic way to celebrate the return of the Halloween season is by binge-watching horror movies and scaring yourself senseless. Instead of sitting at home for the millionth night in a row, why not take a quick drive and experience a terrifying horror flick at the drive-in?
Think about it, you can relive the classic movie date while enjoying a creepy fall movie only 30 minutes outside of Toronto. The 5 Drive-In is showing horrors and thrillers, such as "The Nun", "The MEG", and "Alpha" to kick off the beginning of the season.
The drive-in opens up at 7:30 PM every day of the week and visitors can purchase their tickets for the show upon arrival. The theatre has three screens that show two different films each night, so expect to spend your whole evening enjoying the show! Once inside you can park your car and head to the snack bar to grab popcorn and snacks.
The 5 Drive-In is located at 2332 Ninth Line, Oakville, Ontario. General admission is $13 but it's a better deal to watch 4 feature films for only $15! Or you can save your change and spend $8 if you for the Tuesday night special!
You can park your car facing the screen or if the weather permits it, bring lawn chairs if the weather permits and sit outside your vehicle for a night of fun! If you're lucky enough to have a hatchback, you can always park your car in reverse and open your truck for full-on comfort in your trunk.
While the theatre is playing some horror flicks, there are also family-friendly films for viewing also if you're more faint of heart. You can check their full movie schedule here.
Whether you're looking for a romantic date or just a movie night with your BFF's, a trip to the drive-in is classic fun. New films are added regularly, so go enjoy a movie in the great outdoors, especially before that winter snow comes!
