The Bourbon // 50 W Cordova St.
The only bar in Vancouver with a mechanical bull, indoor bocce, and an eclectic cowboy theme without the cowboy music. The Bourbon is a super fun place to be on Thursday night with karaoke and lots of Spanish music to shake like Shakira to.

If you ever went to or are currently a UBC student, Bims is pretty much your home. Playing well-loved and well-known Top 40s music, they'll get even your shy friend drunk and busting out them pipes.
Celebrities // 1022 Davie St.
Tuesdays at Celebs is where it's at, with cheap drinks and party bangers that'll keep you going all night. And if you're a student, cover is only $5.

Don't let the dark and dingy building scare you off, but if you're a true punk rocker, it won't anyway. The Cobalt is the spot for quality live punk rock and metal music. The crowd is always fantastic, AND you can even bring in pizza from next door's Pizza Farina.
