You can look at the glass half empty or half full. Yes, summer is almost over. But still, IT'S SUMMER! Our notoriously rainy city only gets about 90 days of sun per year, so make the last 14 days count.

Here are 8 things in Vancouver you can treat yourself and your ride-or-die to for under $15 before the summer ends:

1. Screamers Soft Serve // 12211 Third Avenue

You know what else is straight fire in Vancouver besides this weather? Screamers! Shout out to all my Richmond homies who already know what I'm talking about. Screamers are basically the ultimate combination of slushy and soft serve. What peanut butter is to jelly, is slushy to soft serve.

Cost: $2-5

(Alternatively, for all us un-bougey folk, you can also go to any Mac's' convenience store and make your own for around $3.)

2. Splashdown Waterpark // 4775 Nu Lelum Way

The beloved Splashdown Park is closing down permanently after summer 2016, so go while you still can! And if you sign up for their newsletter online, you can get $8 off your next trip!

Cost: $11 (during Twilight hours with your $8-off coupon)

There is still one more day left for The Fair at PNE's free day! On August 30th, between 11am and 1pm, PNE will be offering free gate admission to all who come. Come through and see some awesome exhibitions, get day drunk at their beer garden, win some life-size stuffed minions...oh and did I mention there was a beer garden?

Cost: FREE

4. False Creek Ferry Rides

Almost 100% of locals and non-locals will tell you that the best part about Vancouver is the view, when that sunlight makes magic with the surface of the ocean to shine and glisten. Why not take a ferry ride from Kits down to Granville Island, or Yaletown to False Creek, and embrace the ocean waves?

Cost: $15/all day pass or $4-5/ride

5. Richmond Night Market

Okay, so technically you've still got until October 1o this year to go to the Richmond Night Market, but you know how the weather gets after September. Seriously, if you haven't gone yet, just go! Grab a few of your foodie BFFs, buy a whole bunch of different food, and share! And if you stay until closing, there are lots of vendors that discount their food.

Cost: $3.25 for admission

6. JJ Family Spa // 3000 Christmas Way

And for all of you Vancouver anomalies who don't actually like being in the sun, we've got one for you too. Treat yourself to an all day Korean spa, which steam and dry saunas, and salt and charcoal rooms, you'll come out feeling as relaxed as you were on the first day of summer.

Cost: $15 all day

(I know. Spa. $15. All day. Cray right?!)

7. Zakkushi Beer Blast // 823 Denman St.

This year, Zakkushi is doing their Beer Blast event all June through August, offering $10 pitchers of Sapporo. You could go and also try their amazing yakitori, or just go simply for the Sapporo. Either way, dat Sapporo though.

Cost: $10/pitcher

8. Mani for the cure

And what summer is complete without a manicure? You don't have to spend a lot to look beautiful. Pamper yourself with a girl's mani day using Groupons at Accent on Nails  or Body Beauty Esthetics n' Nails for affordable quality nail time.
