Just about a 4 hr drive from Vancouver is the Penticton river channel over in the Okangan, also known as the Okanagan river channel.\nThis spot is now one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Okanagan, and the best part, it's completely free (we love free things)!\nvia @explorecanada\nThis river channel was actually built back in the 1950's to control the water flow between Okanagan lake to Skaha lake. You can actually rent them at the tube rental shop, Coyote Cruises, at the launch site of the river. Rental tubes costs $6/person.\nTubing down the entire river can take between 3 to 4 hrs.
