The new Vancouver arcade bar is to open this January so start practicing your Mario Kart skills, you’re going to need it.

Blasts from the past have been popping up like mad this year. From live-action Disney movies to nostalgic bars that cater to our favourite old-school toys, our childhood memories are making a comeback in a big way.

Vancouver has hopped on the nostalgia trend with a retro '90s arcade bar. Opening up in January 2020, this pop-up bar won't be around for long, so enjoy it while it lasts!

Whether you are looking to show off your gaming skills or want something different to do on a Saturday night, this bar will most definitely have you covered. Not only will there be awesome games, but also '90s themed drinks to sip on while you play.

The pop-up bar will have you reliving your earlier years of life as you battle your friends in Dance Dance Revolution and Pac Man. Tokens are not required for any of the games as it is all included in your ticket purchase.

There will also be live-action games like Human Hungry Hungry Hippos. We don’t know what that means but we are excited to find out!

In order to make sure you are totally immersed in the 90s, there will be unique and themed beverages offered to anyone who is 19+.

Once you’ve finally beaten your childhood high score, try your hand at the pop culture trivia. All your Saved By The Bell knowledge might actually pay off.

There are tons of prizes to be won for high scores and trivia. There will even be a prize for best dressed so be sure to come in costume.

Tickets for the event are not on sale quite yet. In order to be first in line, keep checking the pop up bar's website for updates. More information about the bar will soon be announced, and you already know that we'll be giving you all the details!
