This year, an amazing Vancouver Christmas light trail is returning for the holidays and you need to hit it up. Mark your calendars, because Lights of Lafarge opens sooner than you think.
There are some awesomeand this one specifically will be in Metro Vancouver. Starting November 30, 2019, you and your loved ones can walk through a magical twinkling light tunnel for free.
That’s right. You don’t have to pay one cent for this activity, which makes it the perfect date idea. Hint hint!
This isn’t just an ordinary trail, either. There are over 100,000 magical lights spread out across the 1.2 km path. Grab a warm beverage, someone you love and head to Coquitlam to take it all in. B.C. is gorgeous in the wintertime, but this walk really is the icing on top of the cake.
The wonderful thing is that Coquitlam is only a short 40-minute drive from Vancouver. Considering we have spent more time in traffic trying to get from one side of the downtown to another, this drive is nothing.

Staring November 30, 2019, you can walk the colourful trail to celebrate all things Christmas.
On opening day, the free event will not only have the magical lights but it will also have live entertainment, buskers, food trucks, and more.
We suggest going early and grabbing a bite to eat before taking your mesmerizing stroll. The free light show will run until January so there will be tons of opportunities to walk along the path. Now all you need to do is start planning.
