This rink is massive! 鉀革笍鉀革笍

Across the water from Downtown Vancouver, there's going to be a brand new ice rink this year that's so magical that it will feel like you're at Rockefeller Center. Nothing gets you in the mood for the holidays quite like gliding around on the ice. Soon, we'll be able to lace up at a Vancouver's new outdoor rink and it's going to be absolutely breathtaking.
At The Shipyards Commons close to the Lonsdale Quay, a new rink will open by the end of the month.
In Vancouver, it doesn't exactly get cold enough in the winter for outdoor rinks like our friends in other provinces have.
Right now, the Robson Square rink under a colourful glowing dome hidden in the centre of the city is the best one we have.
This year, it'll be fun to have another option for outdoor ice skating across the water in North Vancouver.
This new ice rink in Vancouver is going to go right on our bucket lists along with the longest ice skating trail in the world here in Canada and NYC's iconic Rockefeller Center.
There's even a retractable roof over the ice rink so that on those cold and clear days you can "skate in the sunshine" according to Lonsdale Avenue.
By November 14, the ice was officially installed for the first time.
You can see that it's a massive expanse of ice and you even get that classic North Vancouver view of the city skyline across the water.
The ice rink renderings show off that it'll look expansive and modern.
This brand new ice rink is going to be as close as you can get to NYC's magical Rockefeller Center ice rink without getting on a plane.
