You Can Dine In This Magical Underwater Dome Just A Few Hours Outside Vancouver
Under the sea, darling it's betta!
You've seen the incredible underwater hotels of Fiji and Dubai, and no doubt, you've wished a million times you could be there. I guess Sebastian from The Little Mermaid was right, "under the sea, darling it's better."
While Fiji and Dubai may be on the complete opposite side of the planet from us, we too can enjoy a similar underwater experience just a few hours outside of Vancouver.
Imagine waking up with breakfast in bed - not to a morning sunrise, but rather, an enchanting underwater glass dome with sea creatures of all kinds swimming and shimmering above your head. Just about a three-hour drive south of Vancouver is the iconic Seattle Aquarium.
While you may have visited the Aquarium in the past, you've never experienced it like this before. The Director of Conservation and Education, Jim Wharton, is hosting an Airbnb Experience called "Breakfast In An Underwater Dome" at the Seattle Aquarium that's completely available to the public and is as magical as it sounds.
You'll get to enjoy a three-course breakfast curated by Chef Betsy Davidson featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. And of course, you can't forget about the mimosas.
While you dine in this intimate setting, you'll also get the chance to learn about the ocean, its conservation, as well as the Aquarium itself. You'll get an exclusive close-up and behind-the-scenes look at the exhibits and wakeup alongside all the sea life.
As this underwater breakfast is one-of-a-kind, you must make reservations through Airbnb Experiences. There are select dates that you can choose from with limited space, so make sure you look in advance. Tickets are $199.
The Seattle Aquarium is located at 1483 Alaskan Way, Seattle.
