This is the good news you've been waiting for. You'll soon be able to stop and smell the flowers at this site, which is exploding with colourful blossoms. VanDusen Garden's reopening is right around the corner and you'll be able to explore its blossom-lined paths soon. After being closed since mid-March, due to COVID-19, The Vancouver Park Board has just announced they will be reopening the VanDusen Botanical Garden. The 55-acre garden will now be open to the public starting on Friday, May 1, 2020. The grounds will now have new physical distancing procedures to ensure everyone's safety. Tickets will only be available for purchase online, and there will be a maximum of 30 visitors per half-hour timeslot. Once inside, all visitors must stay at least two-metre away from others at all times. Pathways will also clearly be marked as one-way, and you will need to walk in the appropriate direction. Because of the new measures, it will feel as though you have the floral lined pathways all to yourself. So you certainly don't want to miss your chance to visit without any of the usual crowds. Spring is a particularly breathtaking time to visit. You certainly will want to enjoy the laburnum walk where the trees are covered in yellow blooms.
