You Have To Stay In These Adorable Mini Cabin Paradise On BC's Coast This Summer
Can we please just move in here 🤞
Hidden on Galiano Island just a quick ferry away from Vancouver is this actual cabin paradise. Bodega Cove is so picturesque it looks like something out of a high-end travel magazine but it's right here in our backyard! You can rent one of their adorable cabins this summer for the most relaxing, Instagram-worthy getaways ever.
The cabins are all nestled together so it's almost like a summer-camp vibe. You'll still have total privacy but you'll also feel a bit like you're back at sleepaway camp! Inside, the cabins are bright, warm and modern with everything you need to unwind like deep soaker tubs and a private deck. Plus, these cabins along the forest's edge are just steps from the ocean!
Nearby this hidden getaway spot is Bodega Ridge Provincial Park where there's a breezy 4 KM hike you can do to reach the top of the ridge and get a panoramic view of the surrounding ocean and islands. If you're lucky, you can even spot birds of prey like turkey vultures and eagles nesting in the trees along the cliffs.
The cabins were originally built back in 1969 and then lovingly restored to look the way they do today. That's why they have a refined but unmistakably retro vibe. There are two styles of cabins to rent depending on your style of vacation. If you're going with friends, then you definitely want to get their two-bedroom cabins. For a romantic getaway, one of their one -bedroom units will be perfect.
To book your stay or to find out more, check out Bodega Cove's website. Rates start at $350 per night during peak season.
