Looking for new ways to stay cool in the summer? Skip the public pool and get out into the woods instead! Horseshoe Lake in Jasper is one of the best places in the province to go on a hot summer day for a cool dip. It's a U-shaped lake with crystal clear glacier water that looks just like turquoise. For the most unreal experience, visit early in the morning when the lake is super still and looks like glass.\nThe hiking trail that brings you to this hidden lake is only 1.5 kilometres long and will take you along the edge of the cliffs surrounding the lake. You'll get some spectacular views on this trail but be careful walking too close to the edge of the cliff.\nView this post on Instagram Already missing Canada & I haven't even boarded the plane yet 🙈❣️ A post shared by •Skye• (@skye_kaycee) on Jul 16, 2017 at 3:23pm PDT\nOne of the best parts of this summer adventure is that it's totally free. It's the perfect summer road trip destination and you won't be sorry you came all the way. The water here is so incredibly clear (and cold, just FYI) that you can actually see the trout swimming in the lake along the edges!\nView this post on Instagram How can water be so blue without any filter?! I already took around 1000 lakes pictures (yes it' crazy) but you know what? I'm totally addicted and will continue until the end of the trip 🙂 . . #aspoonincanada #canada #enjoycanada #canadiandestinations #jasper #myjasper #jaspernationalpark #rockies #canadianrockies #travel #travelalberta #explore #neverstopexploring #explorecanada #explorealberta #wanderlust #bestvacations #beautifuldestinations #mountain #mountainlife #mountainlovers #happyadventuring #summer #holidays #nature #naturelovers #liveauthentic #landscape #lake #view A post shared by Aurore Spoon (@aurorespoon) on Jul 26, 2017 at 8:30am PDT\nYou can find Horseshoe Lake in Jasper National Park.
