Considering the East Coast is known for producing some of the world's best seafood, we decided to put a piece together that will have you travelling all over Nova Scotia in search of the most delicious Lobster, Crab, Chowder and Clams.
The locations we listed below are mostly seafood experiences versus restaurants, so don't be afraid to get your hands dirty on this cross-country road trip adventure. Catch your own fresh fish, and attend week-long seafood festivals by travelling through all the stops we've listed below!
Cold Waters Seafood Festival

Start your journey at the Cold Waters Seafood Festival in the historic Memory Lane Heritage Village near Lake Charlotte from June 3rd to June 4th. Only 45 minutes outside of Halifax, the Eastern Shore waters near this community yield some of the best mussels, clams and haddock in Nova Scotia – be sure to give it a try!

Enjoy delicious Nova Scotian craft beer, local wine and (of course) oysters at this annual seafood event. There are two tasting sessions, each three hours long, so make sure you purchase the right ticket ahead of time as things can get pretty busy!
Peggys Cove Boat Tour
