Taking a trip to Canada's Atlantic provinces just got a whole lot easier and a whole lot cheaper thanks to one ultra-low-fare airline. New Swoop east coast flights are finally happening in the summer and you'll get low fares to even more destinations there. The service expansion opens up another part of the country for Canadians to explore.

The airline is expanding its network in the east coast with three new routes for the summer of 2020.

The new routes will fly from Hamilton, Ontario to St. John's, Newfoundland, Moncton, New Brunswick and Charlottetown, P.E.I.

This means that jetting off on a summer trip to even more Atlantic destinations now has a super low-cost option for travellers.

In June, Swoop is also getting its 10th plane which means that the new seasonal routes will finally be ready for take-off.

"The growth of our fleet means more opportunities for Canadians as we continue our mission of making air travel simple, affordable and accessible for every traveller," said Steven Greenway, Swoop's president, in a news release.

The first flight of this expanded service is on the Hamilton-St. John's route and takes off on June 22.

These new east coast flights are so easy on the wallet since the base fare for a one-way ticket is only $82.

The new service will run from June to October as part of Swoop's seasonal summer schedule.

Flights to St. John's from Hamilton will be running every single day from June 22 all the way to October 23.

You can travel from Hamilton to Moncton four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from June 24 to October 23 and enjoy all the city has to offer.

Three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays you can get trips on the Hamilton-Charlottetown route, which is the last to take off, from June 27 to October 22.

"These new services will offer a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of Atlantic Canada and are a fantastic compliment to the current Swoop schedule in Hamilton which includes destinations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean," said Cathie Puckering, president and CEO of John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, in a news release.

Swoop already offers year-round flights between Hamilton and Halifax but it was the only destination from Atlantic Canada that the airline serviced before.

Now there are three more places to visit and explore on the east coast.

Flights to these destinations are now available for booking through to October.
