The Eagle Canyon zip line is purportedly the longest and fastest in Canada, at 2700 feet long and 175 feet high. Riders can reach speeds of up to 72 km/h while zipping down right through the centre of the grand Ouimet Canyon. There are also breathtaking suspension bridges and hiking trails in the nearby area for you to enjoy.
The Zip Flyer zip line at Horsheshoe Resort in Barrie starts 2100 feet above a majestic forest. A chairlift will take you to the starting point of the zip line, and riders will be secured into a zip line chair that can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h during descent. Other attractions in the area include various treetop trekking courses and nature trails.
The Logos Land Whitewater zip lines are a set of 3 zip lines that stretch above Astrolabe Lake in Cobden. The zip lines are set at three different heights - 658 feet, 1,125 feet and 1,315 feet - and speeds of up to 60 km/h can be reached.
The MistRider zip line is a new attraction that lets you soar the skies over the glorious Niagara Falls. There are a total of four parallel zip lines that stretch across the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. At a height of 2200 feet above the Falls, riders can expect to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h.
The Blue Mountains
The Thunderbird Twin zip line is Canada's longest twin zip line at 2,550 feet long. It is 287 feet above the Niagara Escarpment, and can sling riders at speeds of up to 70 km/h. Nearby to the zip line is also the longest suspension bridge in Southern Ontario, which offers perhaps the best views of the natural landscape in the area.
The Treetop Adventures zip line is a part of an Eco Tour Park located near Sault Ste. Marie. There are two main zip lines - the 400-ft Big Zip and the 1200-ft Mega Zip; the latter being the fastest zip line in Ontario. Aside from the zip lines, will also enjoy paintball courses in the nearby vicinity.
Zip Line Extreme offers a unique zip line experience. Participants will first rappel down a 60-ft limestone cliff to reach the zip line, which is 200-ft long. After getting off the zip line, they will proceed to rappel another 80 ft further into the river at the bottom. Riders can also choose to zip line in face-first orientation.
