You Can Take Alpacas On A Walk Down An Adorable Country Lane At This Ontario Farm
They're so cute!!
I think we can all agree that alpacas are probably one of the cutest animals to ever exist. They're super fluffy and they've got the most adorable, friendly faces out of almost all the animals out there. Honestly, there's no denying they're the best!
Even though the weather isn't getting any warmer, it's always the perfect time to experience the great outdoors when these woolly friends are involved. Why not take a walk and enjoy some hugs from an adorable alpaca at S.A.M.Y.'s Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio right here in Ontario!
S.A.M.Y.'s Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio is located in Kerwood, Ontario, which is just outside of London and only a 2.5-hour drive from Toronto. They are a family business that raises the South American animals on an adorable 10-acre farm with a barn.
They love visitors at the farm, and have even trained their herd to walk on leashes! When you visit the farm you can take part in one of their Alpaca Walks, as they call them, which allows visitors to fully experience the beauty of these animals.
During the walk, they will take you to the animals grazing in the pasture, where you can hand feed them, get acquainted and talk about them. Then, you'll take some on a leash for a walk down an adorable country lane! The entire experience will take about 60 to 90 minutes.
The Alpaca Walk will cost $25 per person, and they require a $50 minimum, so you'll have to bring a friend, family member, or S/O along with you! They also have tons of other fun workshops to take part in while you're there, like a wet felting workshop, a needle felting workshop, and a training session where you can train your new soft friends to walk on leashes!
They have a farm store as well, where you can purchase some wool goods like socks to keep your feet warm during the winter! This place is seriously adorable and it's the perfect experience for animal lovers.
