There's A Life-Sized Gingerbread House Made Of Real Candy And Chocolate In Niagara Falls
And you can dine in it!
You've probably made a gingerbread house at least once in your life during the holidays. But have you ever stepped foot in one?
Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls, Ontario hosts an annual event called Snowland from November 27 to January 1. During this period, the indoor water park resort is transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland; complete with Christmas lights, holiday decor, and yes, a life-sized gingerbread house that you can actually dine in!
The gingerbread house is nearly two stories high and can seat up to six at a time. The house takes up to 300 hours to build, using a ton of gingerbread cookies, pretzels, candy and chocolate. Inside the house, the tables overflow with candy canes and gumdrops.
For a $20 dining fee, you can eat either breakfast, lunch or dinner inside the gingerbread house.
