This March Break, the Black Creek Pioneer Village in North York will be turned into a miniature Sherlock Holmes-themed town that will bring out your inner detective. Guests will be tasked with helping Sherlock and Watson hunt for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve the big mystery.

Last year, the case involved a series of maple syrup robberies by a masked thief in the village. This year’s case will likely be completely new, but guests can expect the same level of intricate storytelling and engaging game play.

Though the event is open to all ages, it’s definitely more on the family-friendly side, with a lot of the attractions geared towards younger individuals. But there are still a lot of other cool activities to do at the Village during the Sherlock Holmes event, including horse-drawn wagon rides, maple syrup tapping, sugar shacks, and snacking on cookies, hot apple cider and hot chocolate.

The Sherlock Holmes event will take place from March 12 to 18, making it a perfect March Break activity. Kids 14 years old and younger can get in for free, at a ratio of four kids per one adult.
