Even though it might not feel like it judging by the weather outside right now, spring and summer are quickly approaching. With that comes sunnier days, shorts and sundress weather, and that carefree feeling that summer brings! I for one cannot wait for this gloomy winter weather to be replaced the sunny days of spring and summer. If you want to start planning ahead for how you're going to make the most of the warm days this year you should add the Elora Quarry to your list! I'm sure every year we say we're going to make it out to all the hidden spots but this year it can actually happen. The Elora Quarry isn't exactly a secret but it's still beautiful nonetheless and only a 1 hour and 45-minute drive outside of Toronto! The turquoise swimming hole is also surrounded by a lush forest where they encourage guests to set up a secluded picnic. There's also a large slice of beach where you can set up your towel and relax between swim sessions! Cliff jumping at the Elora Quarry is prohibited because of how high the cliffs are and the danger that visitors could put themselves in. Alcohol is also not allowed on the beach area but food and non-alcoholic refreshments are totally okay!
