According to Dollar Flight Club, a subscription service that alerts members about the world's cheapest flight deals, five destinations around the world are trendy for 2020 and people really want to go there.
Using flight data from over one million people in more than 100 countries Dollar Flight Club predicts that places in Indonesia, France, Greece, Japan and Italy will be top destinations to travel to in 2020.
Even though those destinations are very in-demand, not all of them are completely safe for you to jet off to. In a couple of cases, there are high-level travel advisories in place.
Here are five trending travel destinations for 2020 and how safe they are according to the government of Canada.
Bali is a beautiful destination with stunning beaches and clear water along with other natural landscapes like caves and waterfalls. It's definitely the place to go for an adventure.
According to the government, when travelling to Indonesia you should exercise a high degree of caution because of political and social tensions and the threat of terrorism.
You should also avoid all non-essential travel to the province of Papua because of regular violent incidents.
There are so many iconic things about Paris like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs-Elysees and many more. Whether you want to do typical tourist activities or try and live like a local, Paris has so much to offer.
But you should be careful because the government warns Canadians to exercise a high degree of caution while in France because of the elevated threat of terrorism.
Mykonos is a little island in the Aegean Sea and is popular for the summer party atmosphere. Regardless of if you're into partying or not, there's something for everybody like beautiful beaches or the iconic row of 16th-century windmills that sit above the town.
