There is a secret floral paradise you need to see. Once spring arrives, there is nothing better than strolling through a cheerful garden. But one of the best spots to see flowers is a hidden gem that you've never heard of. There are breathtaking massive tulip fields near Vancouver, and you need to go with your BFF. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is happening from Monday, March 30 to Thursday, April 30, 2020. The month-long event takes place in Washington about a two-hour drive away from Vancouver. What makes this event truly special is just how big it is. The festival told Narcity in an email there are 50 acres of tulips and about 1500 acres of daffodils. From March to April, there will be all sorts of events to join from beer and wine celebrations, a parade, afternoon tea in the garden. Plus, the main activities occur at two farms that will have you feeling like you are in the Netherlands as you walk past flowers and windmills. One of the sites is Roozengaarde, which is the largest bulb grower in North America and has more than 1000 acres of tulips and daffodils. If you want to visit some flower fields you've never heard of before and take a quick road trip to the US â then this is the ultimate addition to your spring bucket list. View this post on Instagram I donât know about you, but life, I believe, is short and I really do not want to spend my time being around negative, grumpy or grouchy people. They tend to make life miserable and I want to live a life of happiness. So one of the ways of doing that is to limit my contact with negative people and increase my contact with positive people, to bring me joy and happiness. #selfcaresundays What brings you you joy and happiness? . . . . . .
