Looking for something magical to add to your plans for the summer? There's a 14 KM roundtrip hike in Washington close to BC that will take you to a massive waterfall that cascades into a turquoise blue swimming hole. This waterfall hike near BC is going to be your new favourite spot for taking a well-deserved dip after a hike!

The Lower Lewis River Falls is the most jaw-droppingly impressive waterfall hike we've seen. The photos for this waterfall do not do it justice. It might be just 13 metres high but it's 121 metres across! This place is a hiker's paradise with multiple trails, loops and waterfalls to explore. Anyone who loves hiking, swimming and the outdoors will want to check this place out ASAP.

The falls spill into a giant pool that's deep enough for a swim and the clear water has a turquoise-blue hue that's absolutely stunning. As you can imagine, this spot gets pretty popular in the summer so you're bound to make new friends at this local watering hole.

Once you make it out to the start of the trail, the hike itself is fairly easy. If you decide to head up to these incredible falls, make sure to pack out everything you brought in with you. Also, don't forget your swimsuit because if it's a hot, sunny day then you are definitely going to want to take a dip!

These amazing falls aren't far from Portland, Oregon so if you were planning a drive down there sometime this summer then you have to put a stop to these falls on your itinerary. It's about a 7.5-hour drive from Vancouver to this natural gem hidden in the forest, so you will want to plan to stay a night or two in the United States to take full advantage.
